Este texto trata sobre el sara minka, una tradición andina de trabajo comunitario en el cultivo del maíz, que se realiza en las comunidades de Ongoy y Huaccana, en Apurímac. El sara minka es una fiesta que combina el esfuerzo colectivo con la música y el canto, expresiones artísticas que animan y celebran el trabajo. Las canciones tienen mensajes de unidad, cooperación y respeto por la naturaleza, y refuerzan los lazos comunitarios y la conexión con la tierra. También ayudan a mantener el ritmo del trabajo y son un homenaje a las generaciones pasadas. La investigación que se presenta tiene como objetivo identificar las canciones que se usan en el sara minka, así como sus tópicos, funciones, instrumentos musicales, estilo musical y contexto cultural y social. El método utilizado es la observación participante, que permite transcribir la música y el texto de las canciones. El sara minka es una manifestación cultural que conserva elementos prehispánicos y que se realiza en el mes de agosto.

This text is about the sara minka, an Andean tradition of community work in the cultivation of corn, which takes place in the communities of Ongoy and Huaccana, in Apurímac. The sara minka is a party that combines collective effort with music and singing, artistic expressions that cheer and celebrate work. The songs have messages of unity, cooperation and respect for nature, and strengthen community ties and connection with the land. They also help to keep the rhythm of work and are a tribute to past generations. The research presented aims to identify the songs used in the sara minka, as well as their topics, functions, musical instruments, musical style and cultural and social context. The method used is participant observation, which allows transcribing the music and text of the songs. The sara minka is a cultural manifestation that preserves pre-Hispanic elements and takes place in August.
