La presente investigación tiene como propósito central la transcripción y análisis musical de la qachwa tradicional del distrito de Hualla, ubicado en la provincia de Víctor Fajardo, Ayacucho. Esta danza, profundamente enraizada en el ciclo festivo agrícola y en las dinámicas de reciprocidad comunal andina, representa una expresión viva del patrimonio cultural inmaterial. La investigación se enmarca en un enfoque cualitativo de nivel exploratorio-descriptivo, utilizando herramientas de análisis musical y trabajo de campo. Los objetivos específicos incluyeron la sistematización de los elementos rítmicos, melódicos y estructurales de la qachua, el reconocimiento de los saberes musicales locales y su puesta en valor desde una perspectiva de educación intercultural crítica, así como la valoración de su función en la construcción de la identidad colectiva y la memoria histórica de la comunidad. La metodología incorporó entrevistas, registros audiovisuales y la elaboración de partituras mediante software especializado, permitiendo identificar patrones musicales característicos como el uso del compás compuesto (12/8), las escalas modales andinas y la función pedagógica implícita en su práctica colectiva. Los resultados evidencian que la qachwa de Hualla no solo posee un alto valor estético y expresivo, sino también un potencial académico y formativo para la enseñanza de la música en contextos rurales e interculturales. Asimismo, se resalta su relevancia como vehículo de subjetivación, resistencia cultural y afirmación identitaria andina. Esta investigación contribuye al reconocimiento y preservación de los saberes musicales tradicionales, y propone insumos concretos para su integración en programas de formación artística superior y en la educación básica.

This research focuses on the transcription and musical analysis of the qachua, a traditional dance from the district of Hualla, located in the province of Víctor Fajardo, Ayacucho. Deeply rooted in the agricultural festive cycle and in the dynamics of Andean communal reciprocity, this dance represents a living expression of intangible cultural heritage. The study adopts a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive approach, employing tools from musicological analysis and ethnographic fieldwork. The specific objectives included the systematization of the rhythmic, melodic, and structural elements of the qachua; the recognition and valorization of local musical knowledge from a critical intercultural education perspective; and the assessment of its role in the construction of collective identity and historical memory within the community. The methodology involved interviews, audiovisual recordings, and the preparation of scores using specialized software. This allowed the identification of characteristic musical patterns such as the use of compound meter (12/8), Andean modal scales, and the pedagogical function embedded in its collective practice. The results show that the qachua of Hualla holds not only high aesthetic and expressive value, but also academic and educational potential for music instruction in rural and intercultural contexts. Furthermore, its significance as a vehicle for subjectivation, cultural resistance, and Andean identity affirmation is highlighted. This study contributes to the recognition and preservation of traditional musical knowledge and offers concrete resources for its integration into higher artistic education programs and basic education curricula.
